RIP tickets do not need a specific date and time. They can be used any date and time we are open during the regular season. RIP ticket holders bypass the general admission line. No additional purchase is necessary.
Hours of operation and pricing varies by day so purchasing online and in advance is always your best option.
ScareHouse does sell out in October, especially on Saturday nights. All ScareHouse tickets should be purchased in advance. Limited tickets will be available at the door. Purchase online and early to reserve your date.
Buying ScareHouse tickets with a credit or debit card online in advance (or purchasing RIP tickets at local Costco warehouses) is the BEST ways to guarantee admission. We also accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Apple Pay, and American Express on site in our merchandise area.
ScareHouse actors will not touch you and our entire attraction is closely monitored by security cameras. All haunted house cast members are 18 years of older and must pass criminal background checks annually.
ScareHouse is not recommended for children under 13, and no one under seven will be admitted. There are no special prices for children and no refunds if anyone decides not to finish the haunt. There are many emergency exits throughout each attraction in case anyone gets too scared to continue.

The Basement is an intense and immersive theatrical experience for those 18 and over. Guests step into the darkness to face a series of challenges and close encounters with a talented cast of experienced actors. Sign the waiver and prepare for interactive encounters featuring electricity, adult situations, and tactile challenges designed to push guests waaaay out of their comfort zone.

Public restrooms are available within the Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills, directly across from the ScareHouse entrance. Guests are strongly encouraged to wash their hands before and after visiting ScareHouse.
ScareHouse is wheelchair accessible. Designated parking spaces are located directly outside our primary entrance at the Mall (entry #4) next to the Cinemark movie theater.
ScareHouse is not recommended for visitors who are pregnant, have heart or lung conditions, or are in general poor health.
No weapons, guns, pets, drugs, alcoholic beverages, cameras, flashlights, or laser pointers allowed inside ScareHouse
We use a significant amount of fog and scent machines. If you would like to learn more about the fog and scents we use in the fog machines, check out our friends at Froggy’s Fog. Should you find the smoke or odors too intense there are emergency exits throughout the attraction.

ScareHouse employs a fully trained security staff and video surveillance system to keep things running smoothly. No weapons are allowed in ScareHouse. This includes guns, all knives, pepper spray, and other small personal protection devices. Please leave your weapons at home or in your car. Customers will be subject to wanding by handheld metal detectors.

Photography is permitted (and encouraged) before and after entering ScareHouse – but NO photography of any sort is allowed inside the haunts. And please don’t use your phone to light your way … it ruins the experience for everyone!
Yes! ScareHouse makes every effort to find and return lost items, however, we cannot guarantee that we will find them.
Yes! Costco members can enjoy a deep discount on RIP passes at the warehouses in the Homestead Waterfront, Robinson Town, and Cranberry Township.
ScareHouse is a very dark experience featuring uneven floors and multiple areas where you are encouraged to push aside pieces of fabric, duck under scenic elements, or possibly even crawl. You should never wear high heels, open-toed shoes or sandals to a haunted house. Unlike many haunted attractions both our waiting areas and attractions are fully indoors.
