General Admission tickets are purchased for a specific day and entry window. You may arrive at any point within your 30 minute window. Upon arrival a customer service agent will assist you.
RIP tickets do not need a specific date and time. They can be used any date and time we are open during the regular season. RIP ticket holders bypass the general admission line. No additional purchase is necessary. RIP Tickets are not available or applicable during Creepy Christmas

Buying tickets with a credit or debit card online in advance (or purchasing RIP tickets at local Costco warehouses) are the ONLY ways to gain admission. We also accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Apple Pay, and American Express on site in our merchandise area.

The actors will not touch you in ScareHouse.

ScareHouse is not recommended for children under 13, and no one under seven will be admitted. There are no special prices for children and no refunds if anyone decides not to finish the haunt. There are many emergency exits throughout each attraction in case anyone gets too scared to continue.

Public restrooms are available within the Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills, directly across from the ScareHouse entrance. Guests are strongly encouraged to wash their hands before and after visiting ScareHouse.

ScareHouse is wheelchair accessible. Designated parking spaces are located directly outside our primary entrance at the Mall (entry #4) next to the Cinemark movie theater.

ScareHouse is not recommended for visitors who are pregnant, have heart or lung conditions, or are in general poor health.

No weapons, guns, pets, drugs, alcoholic beverages, cameras, flashlights, or laser pointers.

We use a significant amount of fog and scent machines. If you would like to learn more about the fog and scents we use in the fog machines, check out our friends at Froggy’s Fog. Should you find the smoke or odors too intense there are emergency exits throughout the attraction.

ScareHouse employs a fully trained security staff and video surveillance system to keep things running smoothly. No weapons are allowed in ScareHouse. This includes guns, all knives, pepper spray, and other small personal protection devices. Please leave your weapons at home or in your car. Customers will be subject to wanding by handheld metal detectors.

Yes. We take the safety of our customers and employees very seriously. We do not allow foul language, pushing, vulgar behavior, weapons of any kind, alcohol, etc. The first violation of these rules will usually bring a warning and after the second, you will be asked to leave without a refund. Please do not visit the ScareHouse if you are intoxicated. It is not fun for you or our actors. If we believe you are too intoxicated to enter ScareHouse and pose a threat to yourself, other customers, or our actors, you will be asked to leave without refund.

Photography is permitted (and encouraged) before and after entering the attraction – but NO photography of any sort is allowed inside the haunts. And please don’t use your phone to light your way … it ruins the experience for everyone!

The Basement is an intense and immersive theatrical experience for those 18 and over. However it is off-limits until 2022 due to ongoing concerns over Covid19.
