General Laborer

Hours: Part-time. Work hours 10 AM-6 PM Monday-Friday. Through the end of May. At least 30 hours per week. 

Description: The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment assisting in moving, deconstructing and organizing various sized items, and props and set pieces along with other related tasks as assigned. We are a workplace of hardworking professionals who still have fun on the job due to the unique spooky working environment.

Must be able to follow specific instruction and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Will work on a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, construction, painting, scenic, general maintenance, prop and costume acquisition, etc. The ideal candidate will be punctual, have reliable transportation and a mind for safety and respect towards coworkers. Work is mostly indoors. 

Preferred Skills/Additional Job Information

  • Must be able to perform strenuous physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting, bending, standing, climbing, kneeling and/or walking throughout the workday

  • Must be able to follow strict safety guidelines for working with sets and prop pieces

  • Must have basic experience with common hand tools and power tools

  • Must be able to follow direction well and work as a team

  • Ability and willingness to learn on the job

  • Ability to work safely around others at heights and around moving machinery, and with exposure to noise, vibration, and dust

  • Ability to work productively under strict deadlines

  • Strong communication skills

  • Must be able to work in sometimes dark and/or isolated areas

  • Must work in an environment containing fake blood and realistic frightening props and creatures

Project Coordinator

Should also be willing to work in a fast-paced environment assisting in moving, deconstructing and organizing various sized props and set pieces along with other related tasks as assigned. We are a workplace of hardworking professionals who still have fun on the job due to the unique spooky working environment. Candidates must have reliable transportation and a mind for safety and respect towards coworkers. Work is largely indoors.

  • Experience with team leadership and time management

  • Administrative and problem-solving skills a plus

  • Must be able to follow strict safety guidelines for working with sets and prop pieces

Facilities Coordinator

Hours: Part-time. Work hours vary based on project. Though November.
Description: The ideal candidate will have proven experience in property maintenance and upkeep and have great communication and time management skills. Should also be willing to work in a fast-paced environment assisting in moving, deconstructing and organizing various sized props and set pieces along with other related tasks as assigned. We are a workplace of hardworking professionals who still have fun on the job due to the unique spooky working environment.

Must have flexibility with hours. This position will consist of varying start and end times in relation to current project needs. Work will be carried out onsite as well as remotely. Candidates must have reliable transportation and a mind for safety and respect towards coworkers. Work is indoor/outdoor, and will require local travel.
